With a new CEO in place, the company wanted to ensure that management had an appreciation of investor issues and concerns, and that these issues and concerns were adequately addressed during its upcoming Analyst Day program.

We conducted pre- and post-Analyst Day surveys, and rather than mechanically ask a series of static questions, we engaged the respondents in conversation and encouraged them to provide candid commentary.

The company agreed that having a third party engage the financial community demonstrated management’s seriousness in preparing for the Analyst Day. By eliciting candid responses to our questions, we were able to channel valuable feedback from the financial community that otherwise might not reach management.
